Righto. Hello from England! Dispite one strike, a delayed flight, a flu and a broken camera, we had an awesome trip and fell completely and utterly in love with the country.

Us Finns and the English share a tendency to discuss the weather and the unusually warm and sunny days were a hot topic of talk last week. The fact that the British also decide it’s time to wear shorts and flip flops when the temperature hits ten degrees celsius also made me feel very much home as that is something Finns do as well. Brilliant.

Anyway, the English spring was gorgeous. I stopped at every magnolia tree so it took us a while to get around. During the week we still managed to visit quite a few towns in the Cotswolds (which were b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l, let me tell you) and also Oxford and London on top of that.

Luckily my camera broke down (ok, I dropped it) only on the last day so I have a bit over a thousand photos to go through. I won’t be ready with those for some time yet, so here’s a little preview of what’s to come. So watch this space. :) Have any of you been to the Cotswolds?
